Redemption Church is a new church plant that is beginning to form in the Parkdale neighbourhood of Toronto. We are in the home gathering phase, and are currently working towards the public gathering phase. We'd love to have you join us on the journey! We have strong Fellowship with the Evangelical Baptist tradition and are aiming to live as if we are part of an ongoing, 29th chapter of the church's story in the book of Acts,  though we aim to be a home for everyone, wherever they are at in their spiritual journey.

We are a group of Christians who are from Toronto. We live here, grew up or moved here, and consider this place to be our home. We believe in God. We follow Jesus. We've experienced the ongoing transformation of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to holding up these truths while living out our lives as a community that believes the Christian message is Good News that should be shared with the world.

Some of us come from Christian backgrounds. Some of us were raised around gang members and sex workers. Some of us have more education, and some of us have less. Some of us were born right here in Toronto, and some of us made our home here along the way. But what unites all of us is the belief that Jesus changes lives, that God is active in our world, and that the Bible tells the truth: that though we are more broken than we ever feared, we are simultaneously more loved, accepted, and pursued by God than we ever dared to hope.
